My daughter, Disia, would sometimes sit down and sketch these funny-face (and adorable) cartoon characters.  Lola (that's me), obviously adored these drawings and added them to my Book of Memories.  In 1995, I shared these sketches with someone who said "....have you ever thought of turning these characters in to dolls...?

Well, that's where it all started (the idea). 

All the work has been well worth the wait.  And the sacrifices.... whew!!!

And now, a dream has come true.
